events waste collection in accordance with the details provided. As the applicant, I acknowledge that I am
responsible for ensuring all charges associated with this collection are paid.
Terms & Conditions 1. Council's special event waste collection service is provided on a user-pays basis. 2. Service Charges 2.1 Supply, clear and removal of bins: $31.50 per bin (including GST). Includes delivery of bins to the event site, emptying during or after the event, and removal of empty bins. 2.2 Bin clear only: $26.50 per bin, per empty (including GST). Applies where bins are supplied by the applicant. 3. The applicant is responsible for the care of bins/caps provided for event. Charges may apply for any bins/caps that are lost, stolen or damaged. 4. General waste and recycling stations will be positioned throughout the event site in consultation with Council's Waste or Event team. 5. The applicant must take reasonable steps to educate and encourage vendors, staff, volunteers and patrons on the correct use of general waste and recycling bins. 6. The applicant agrees to place bins in locations nominated by Council for servicing, collection or removal. 7. A separate application must be submitted for each event. 8. Applications must be lodged with Council at least two (2) weeks prior to the event date to allow sufficient time for service planning and delivery. 9. The applicant is responsible for all fees and charges associated with the services requested. 10. Refunds or fee reductions will not be provided where fewer collections are required than originally requested, unless alternative arrangements have been approved by Council before the bins are delivered or serviced. 11. By submitting this application, the applicant requests Mansfield Shire Council to provide waste collection services for the nominated event. 12. To enable safe collection, bins must be placed at the kerbside or road shoulder, with the handles and wheels facing away from the roadway. 13. The following materials must not be placed in general waste or recycling bins: • Hot ashes • Solvents • Heavy metals • Liquids Council reserves the right to amend service arrangements where necessary to ensure safe and efficient waste collection operations.
